Zineb Benchekchou, Mindful Self-Compassion Teacher.

A space to soften.
To remember what matters.
To meet yourself—and others—with kindness and clarity.

Hi, I’m Zineb.
I hold space for people learning to live with greater compassion: for themselves, and for their communities. I’m drawn to the quiet things that help us stay connected.
The everyday gestures that bring us back to ourselves.
The ways we show up—with care, with curiosity, with heart.

This space brings together two parts of my work:
mindfulness-based programs that offer tools for inner steadiness, and storytelling through photography, which honors the beauty in how people live, lead, and care- just as they are.

Mindful Self-Compassion™

Self-compassion or Inner-compassion is a way of meeting ourselves with warmth, honesty, and care. It invites us to stay connected—to what we feel, to what we need, and to what matters most.

In this course, we explore simple practices that support inner clarity, emotional resilience, and a deeper sense of belonging.

Nothing to perform. Nothing to prove. Nothing to fix. Just space to be with yourself—gently, and genuinely.

Photography & Storytelling

There is strength in stillness.
And beauty in the quiet work of care.

This is a project rooted in presence - and a good bit of curiosity.

I meet with people who serve—quietly, humbly, wholeheartedly. We sit together. We talk. I listen. There’s no script. Just space. For honesty, for reflection, for whatever wants to show up that day, silences included.

Through these conversations, a story unfolds.
Through the lens, a portrait emerges—one that holds more than just a face. It carries a moment of truth, a trace of purpose, a glimpse of the person within.

Each photograph is paired with a piece of their story. Not to define them, but to offer a glimpse—to reflect how they move through the world, and what they offer simply by being who they are.

This is a practice of connection. Of deep noticing. Of making the invisible a little more visible.
